PGA Tour pros know the most important aspect of their game is their ability to "go low".
So, how do they do it?
According to the short game guru, Dave Pelz. "In golf, how you play inside of 100 yards is the prime determinant of how you score."
Statistics show that 65% of all shots are inside 100 yards with 43% of those shots involving putting.
That's why tour pros spend so much time working on their short game. They know that "scoring" is what matters most, not how far they hit the ball.

During the first lesson your personal teaching professional will evaluate your game, help you identify goals, and suggest a plan of action to achieve those goals as quickly as possible. With a plan in place you will work one on one with your instructor to chisel away at your bad habits and tendancies, replacing them with solid fundamentals.
The first step to getting started is to decide how many lessons you would like to take and whether or not you would like to take your lessons alone or with one or more friends or family members. Our instructors offer private and semi-private individual lessons as well as five lesson packages. Although private lessons allow the instructor to focus exclusively on your game, semi-private lessons are a fun way to learn with someone with similar playing abilities. If you're not sure how many lesson you will need to achieve your goals, please give us a call at the golf shop and ask to speak with one of our teaching professionals.
Your next step will be to choose a teaching professional. We suggest you review the bios of our professional staff, then call the golf shop or check online to see which instructors offer lessons during times convenient to your schedule. Once you have chosen an instructor all that remains is for you to schedule your first lesson. Private lessons are scheduled at your convenience through the golf shop or thru our online lesson scheduling service. You can schedule each lesson individually or schedule them in advance.

Each session is comprised of four one-hour classes spread out over four weeks. Sessions stress the fundamentals of grip, posture and alignment as they apply to your putting, chipping, iron and wood play. You will also be introduced to the rules & etiquette of golf, as well as course management and club selection.
Class participants will be provided practice balls, loaner clubs, swing trainers & handouts during all sessions.
